Come and Try Quidditch!
This is your chance to check out the magic that quidditch has to offer! QuANZ are running free workshops to teach you all you need to know and finishing up with a final game. There will also be a discussion afterwards on how to set up a team at your local school.
Bring clothes to run around in and a water bottle
All other equipment will be provided plus the chance to buy some amazing NZ Quidditch Merch!
We will be running three workshops.
A Complete Introduction to Quidditch
In conjunction with NZ Quidditch Camp, this whole day session hosted by the New Zealand Black Brooms National Team, this all day session aims to cover all the basic skills to make you a quidditch pro!
Where: Hagley Park South, Hagley Ave, Christchurch
When: Saturday February 16th, 9am-5.30pm
Cost: $10- to be paid in cash

A Kidditch "Kids Quidditch" workshop
For parents and their children
This session is specially targeted at children under 16 years of age and their parents.
We look forward to sharing with you the magic of quidditch. Our dedicated national committee will be on hand to answer any questions and offer advice on how to set up a team at your local school.

A 'Come and Try' University workshop
For adults, mixed gender, full contact, ages 16+
This session is close to Canterbury University for any and all students who are interested in giving quidditch a go as part of your uni experience.
Where: Ray Blank Park, Maidstone Rd, Ilam
When: Sunday February 17th, 2.30pm-4.30pm
